site changes...

There have been a few updates to the site, mainly to do with the design. I'll be updating other neglected areas over the next few weeks.

There isn't much in the way of news; a new album from the band seems likely sometime next year.

The site isn't going away though; if you have anything to contribute or maybe it’s a suggestion please feel free to email me via the link at the bottom of the page.

Cheers,
Matt

Radio 1 v Starsailor at Soccer Six

While there are two big footie finals this weekend, the FA Cup and Scottish Cup, Radio 1 have their own big footie match to worry about.

It's the celebrity Soccer Six tournament and among the players on Radio 1's team there's Colin Murray, Spoony, Chappers, Ralf Little, Harvey and Michael Grecco.

Our boys will be showing off their ball skills against Snow Patrol, Liberty X, Blazin' Squad and Goldie Lookin' Chain.

All the action kicks off at the Madejski stadium in Reading on Sunday.

Starsailor also have a team - they played in the last Soccer Six in Elland Road and got through to the quarter finals.

But they reckon they've got their work cut out against Radio 1's boys:

"That's a pretty good team I think isn't it really? Harvey's a pretty good player, I've seen him a few times and Ralf Little's good as well."

"That's a bit of an unfair team because there's only about two from Radio 1 isn't there?"

"We'll just try and kick them off the pitch if we can't win fairly, we'll just try and kick them."

He's also surprised at just how seriously the celebs have been taking the charity kick-about:

"Last week at Elland Road it got quite competitive really. I thought it was just a bit of a laugh but then I looked over to one pitch and 'EastEnders' were fighting with one of the boy band teams."

"We had a really tough game, it's really much more competitive than what I thought."

Visit www.soccer-six.com for more details, including how to get tickets.
