The basic pattern is:
Cm Fm for the picky bit at the start and i think at the end there is either
a G7 a or an Fm7 but i don't know Fm7 is so i play the g7! it doesn't 
sound quite right but its close.

for the bit where he just plays chords (I wanna love you but my hands are tied..)
he plays these chords in a bar chord form

Cm, g, G#, Eb



here is the picky bit ( very basically) in Cm chord position

E----------------------------------

this played continually whilst either the Cm or the Fm chord is played underneath
except for the very end where he picks at the G7 or Fm7.
